<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">This is where you organize dBase database indexes.</help:help-text> This enables you to have quicker access to a database, as long as you queried the data in the selection that was defined through the indexes.<a name="ende"/> When you design a table, define the indexes on the <span class="T1">Indexes</span>tab page.</p>

<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">The defined indexes of the selected table are listed here.</help:help-text> To remove one or all indexes, click on the right arrow button.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">In this field, you will find a list of the available indexes not yet assigned to a table.</help:help-text> To assign an index to a selected table, click the left arrow <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>icon. The left double arrow assigns all available indexes.</p>
